The ‘Estivale Sixto Green’ is one of the first electric river cruisers on the waterways of France. It is perfect for the environmentally conscious traveller (and all their family!). A holiday on the canals of Alsace places you in the heart of nature and it’s important that we can make your trip environmentally friendly as possible. Keeping noise to a minimum and preventing pollution are key to protecting the canals and their surrounding wildlife. It boasts zero-emission propulsion , as well as simple and fast charging thanks to its lithium-ion batteries. In just the time needed for a lunch break the battery can be recharged ready for the next part of your cruise!

None of this focus on the environment, however, means any compromise on comfort. With three generously sized cabins, this boat also has the option to temporarily convert the saloon into another double berth. While cruising through the home of haute-cuisine, if you feel like cooking, the modern galley is fully equipped for a party of any size, with a large fridge-freezer and an oven with four ring-hobs. In the saloon, a TV with DVD player can be found, along with a CD/MP3 player with a radio. 220v plug sockets enable you to charge your phones, laptops or other devices while on the move.

The large windows allow panoramic views of the ‘European’ city of Strasbourg, the famous inclined boat lift at Arzviller or the countryside of France, Luxembourg and Germany from the cockpit. The ground level rear deck offers a space perfect for dining alfresco, complete with furniture, and a sliding sun awning to provide a shady retreat if needed. A second steering position has been installed for your convenience, as has a deck shower. A swimming ladder can be found on the rear deck, allowing you to easily swim wherever you choose to explore. Alternatively, for an additional fee (starting at €87), discover the pleasures of on-board bathing by adding a heated splash pool – simply tow it along with your boat (pool available from selected locations: please enquire. Note that a pleasure boat licence is necessary due to the total length of the boat plus pool).
