Boat Description

Custom built in 1969 by Alan Gurney, the 64ft Crusade was refitted in the winter of 2011. This was the first flush deck race boat and won the Sydney Hobart race in 1971, she exudes charm and elegance on the water and offers good performance under sail. Whether you’re looking for a true sailing challenge or a relaxed cruise around the Solent, your skipper will ensure your experience is everything you expect and more.

Crusade is presented in pristine condition, having been meticulously maintained by her current owner. Quality construction and immaculate finish is world-renowned, and Crusade is no exception to this. Since her launch, this 64ft sailing yacht has confirmed her status as a pedigree vessel, with a maximum speed of 12 knots and an impressive cruising history extending from the Mediterranean and beyond.

Crusade’s stylish and spacious interior offers luxurious accommodation for up to seven guests. A principal feature is a bright and airy main saloon with sumptuous furnishings, perfect for socialising around the coffee table whilst enjoying the panoramic views. In addition, the main saloon is equipped with a large screen television, surround sound and Bose entertainment system. She can accommodate up to seven guests in three magnificent staterooms, including a spacious master suite, finished with soft furnishings.

There is one twin guest stateroom and one double at the aft, one feature is a single Pullman by the chart table for the possible seventh guest.

Perfect for chartering, she features generous deck areas ideal for lounging or entertaining guests. Her fantastic deck areas feature a beautiful centre cockpit table which can seat up to seven guests for breakfast, lunch and evening meals whilst another low table surrounded by comfortable sofas is perfect for cocktails and relaxation.
